SUMMARY:Food Drive begins
DESCRIPTION:Starting next Tuesday\, November 26th\, there will be a food drive initiative in “A” block at GFSS. Non-perishable items and cash donations are welcome. To generate excitement towards this fundraiser\, students will earn house team points and the opportunity to enjoy a yummy pre-Christmas treat! The collection end-date is December 13th. The Boundary Food Bank is an important service in our community-let’s support it as best we can! \nHere are some ideas for non-perishable items that are always in need: \n\ncanned or dried beans and legumes condiments bulk rice*\ncanned tomatoes milk (evaporated or powdered) bulk flour*\ncanned fruit and veggies pancake mix bulk sugar*\ncanned meat (salmon\,\nchicken\, ham etc) jam\, syrup\, honey bulk oats*\ncanned or packaged soups cereal (hot or cold)\ncanned pasta sauce pasta\njuice cake mix\ncondiments\nmilk (evaporated or powdered)\npancake mix\njam\, syrup\, honey\ncereal (hot or cold)\npasta\ncake mix\n**bulk rice* bulk flour* bulk sugar* bulk oats*\n\n**These items can be donated in bulk and will be repackaged at the Food Bank. \nAlso gratefully appreciated are donations of pet food\, feminine hygiene products\, toilet paper\, and other personal hygiene items. \nThanks for the support and school spirit!
