Dear students and families,

For Earth Day, our Global Citizenship Club is organising a Thrift Store Clothing Exchange, where students collect and share clothing so items could find a second home instead of going to waste. It is a meaningful way to promote sustainability and support one another at the same time. We are proud of the leadership and community spirit our students are demonstrating and grateful to everyone who donates and is helping to make the event a success. Items can be dropped off at the office.

I’d also like to recognise the students who proudly represented GFSS in athletics, with the Senior Girls Soccer Team competing in Midway, Golf Team travelling to Balfour, and Ultimate Frisbee Teams in Kelowna. These opportunities give students the chance to grow through teamwork and school spirit. Thank you to our dedicated coaches for giving their time, energy, and encouragement to support our athletes and make these experiences possible.
