Dear students and families,
Thank you very much for joining us at school this week for informal meetings with our education team. We believe that family-school engagement is important to your child’s success. Teachers may be continuing to send updates through emails, short reports, notes, or telephone calls a few weeks more. We call these “informal updates”. Our formal written updates (aka mid-semester report cards) will come in early May.
We work as community, and we play as a community. GFSS let off some steam on Thursday with our annual Great Dodgeball Throwdown. It was intense grade versus grade action as cohorts massed and battled it out for a year’s worth of bragging rights. Check out the photos on our socials (linked below). Can you guess which grade reigned supreme? Hint: it wasn’t the teachers. 😊
On behalf of all the staff, we wish you a refreshing March Break and look forward to seeing all the students on March 31st for an exciting spring session. GFSS is a great place to be!
