Dear students and families,
Thank you for joining us for our Welcome Back BBQ this week! It was wonderful to connect with families, sharing good food, and starting the year together in a positive way. Your presence helps make our school community welcoming and stronger. We we’re grateful for your support and enthusiasm as we begin another great year at GFSS. Thank you to the PAC for sponsoring the BBQ.
We at GFSS would like to wish everyone a warm and joyful Thanksgiving. This day reminds us of our shared values of gratitude, respect, and connection. As we pause to give thanks, we celebrate the spirit of care and community that defines our school and the people who make it such a meaningful place to learn and grow.
We understand that some families may be feeling the effects of changes in local industries and workplaces this fall. I’d like to remind everyone that GFSS has funding available to help parents and guardians with costs associated with school that may be difficult to manage. If your family could benefit from this support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office or myself.
