Dear students and families,
This past week we celebrated student achievement through our annual Lupine Awards. Congratulations to all students who were recognized for citizenship, service, elective course achievement, academic excellence, and athletic achievement. These awards reflect the many ways our students contribute to the life of our school and demonstrate the values we strive for at GFSS.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our GFSS Parent Advisory Council (PAC) for their support throughout the year. PAC has been a valued partner in helping us create meaningful opportunities for students. Thank you for your commitment to our school community.
As we begin planning for the 2026–2027 school year, we would like to hear perspectives from GFSS parents and guardians to help shape our priorities and goals for continuous improvement. We invite you to share your thoughts by completing the school planning feedback form by June 18.
This week, we are excited to host our annual GFSS Scholarship Evening. This event provides an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of our graduating students and recognize the generosity of the many local organizations, businesses, families, and community members who provide scholarships and bursaries. Thank you!
Also, students can also look forward to one of our favourite school spirit events of the year: Over the Top. This fun-filled activity encourages our students to show their school spirit through participation and teamwork over a number of challenges. Let’s have a great week!
