Dear students and families,
This week, we enjoyed the annual, “Over the Top”, a fun athletic-based school spirit event that brought our students together in friendly competition. In teams, students participated in a challenging relay, including running, obstacle course, cycling, and climbing. Sharing their musical arts, our concert band took center stage this week to the delight of friends and family. GFSS also hosted our annual Scholarship Evening. It was an important opportunity to recognize the effort, service, and achievement of our graduating students. Many students received financial support to help them pursue their post-secondary goals thanks to the generosity of local organizations, businesses, and individuals. Events like these help build a positive school culture for learning and strengthen our relationships with other and our community.
Today (Saturday) marks one of the most significant milestones of the school year as we celebrate our Graduating Class of 2026. The ceremony will be a time to reflect on accomplishments, recognize growth, and look ahead to new opportunities. We are proud of our Grads and all they have contributed to our school community.
As we begin planning for the 2026–2027 school year, we would like to hear perspectives from GFSS parents and guardians to help shape our school’s priorities and goals for continuous improvement. We invite you to share your thoughts by completing the school planning feedback form by June 18.
